You’re solution orientated social media and creative strategist, with a passion for media, brand and content strategy, You generally like keeping with and consuming social media trends, marketing tactics, and have a deep understanding of all social platforms. You are a quick learner, a great communicator and team player, and love keeping up on the latest newest platform changes and marketing tools.

We’re counting on you to develop, execute, and optimize brand awareness and demand-generation activities across our paid media channels and social platforms. You’ll be a master of the day-to-day management of advertising campaigns and recommend strategies for effective ad creative.

You are an open and direct communicator; you’re not afraid to throw out an idea or challenge an existing one. You get fired up when a post over indexes on social, and have a rationale as to why. You’ll use data-driven results to help impact the scalable, predictable revenue machine we’re building at Silversky.

The task at hand :
  • Provide and execute tactics strategies to grow and scale our brands online
  • Provide media planning direction for upcoming campaigns and determine channels and platforms to run on, audiences to target, and effective ad creative
  • Create and manage paid media campaigns across various platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Interpret social and commerce analytics to feed more insights and strategies
  • Optimize campaigns and provide strategic recommendations in order to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded
  • Lead paid media reporting, including relevant metrics and insights, on a regular cadence
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to find opportunities to generate demand with paid media
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Identify and capitalize on social media content and marketing trends
  • Understanding how to make content work for different audiences and different platforms
  • Copywriting for social media posts and advertising
  • “Social Listening”

The ideal candidate:
  • 2 years experience as a social media specialist media buyer or experience managing paid media campaigns across various platforms'
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (e.g. economics, mathematics, statistics or finance) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced skills in building excel tables and can interpret and analyze social media and paid media analytics
  • Professional marketing experience
  • Experience in a tech start-up environment or an agency environment
  • Experience working with designers and a team-focused creative process
  • An ability to think creatively while remaining pragmatic
  • An ability to problem-solve and think critically
  • Top-notch written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisation and time-management skills
  • Skilled at creating content on their phone. Knowledge of adobe creative suite
  • Passionate interests and side hobbies
